毎年200人以上の命を飲み込んでいるボリビアのデスロード

南米ボリビアの主要都市ラパスの北東ユンガス地方で先月３１日、未舗装の山岳道路を自転車で下るツアーに参加していた日本人女性、上村尚未さん（３２）が谷に転落し、死亡したことが３日、外務省に入った連絡などで分かった。山岳道路は標高３６００メートルから下り道が続き、「死の道」として外国人観光客らに人気がある。
