世界糖尿病デーで、大阪城や通天閣が青くライトアップ

国連が定めた「世界糖尿病デー」の14日、大阪市の通天閣や大阪城がテーマカラーの青色に浮かび上がった。世界糖尿病デーは、糖尿病の予防や治療を呼びかけようと、インスリンの発見者の誕生日に制定された。東京タワーや錦帯橋（きんたいきょう）（山口県岩国市）など、全国80ヵ所を超える施設がライトアップされた。成人の5～6%が糖尿病を抱えており、2025年に3億8千万人に達すると予想
