台湾に尽力　「八田與一」展

台湾の近代化に力を尽くした八田與一の没後70年を記念した展示会が港区白金台の台北駐日経済文化代表処で開かれています。八田與一は1910年（明治43年）に東京帝国大学を出た後、台湾に渡りました。大規模なダム建設などを行い、不毛の地と言われた台湾南部には水を引いて農業を興すなど、台湾の近代化に尽力しました。 展示は24日迄で入場は無料。■全文■　http://www.mxtv.co.jp/mxnews/news/201205088.html
