June CPI Data

The government's statistics bureau has announced the increase in the consumer price index from June. The CPI rose by 1.77 percent, mostly due to higher fruit and vegetable prices following torrential rains. The cost of eating out rose 2.42 percent, the largest increase since April 2009.
