また、韓国人が海外の選手に対してフェイスブック等に嫌がらせのコメントを連発した。これに対し、ハイデマンは「何の不正もしていない。私を個人攻撃するのは間違っている」と韓国ユーザーたちのやり方に不快感をあらわにしている。スイス代表のサッカー選手に続いて２人目である。「韓国人は野蛮人の集まりだ」と発言し、それが差別発言になるとして除名処分を受ける羽目になった。
