おたる水族館（小樽市祝津３）は27日、餌を食べずに衰弱する可能性が高いとして、保護していたジンベエザメを祝津沖の海に帰した。無事に放流されたが、関係者「人気者だけに残念」と肩を落とした。体長３.５ｍ、体重400kgの巨体で、飼育員は慎重に飼育プールに網を入れて追い込み、クレーンを使って引き上げた。トラックで祝津漁港まで運び、漁船に移して沖合５kmの海で放流
