Chinese students to have access to health insurance

The government approved an amendment today that will give Chinese students the same access to health care that foreign students now have, starting next year. Taiwan's government will subsidize NT$500 of their premium a month, leaving them to pay NT$749 a month for coverage. The government stressed that adding the Chinese students to the program will not hurt its finances.
