日産自動車は、ブレーキとアクセルの踏み間違いを防止・軽減する技術を有料オプションとして日産自動車は２２日、超音波ソナーを搭載することなどでブレーキとアクセルの踏み間違いを防止・軽減する技術を有料オプションとして「エルグランド」に搭載し、１２月１３日から全国一斉に発売すると発表した。名称は「踏み間違い衝突防止アシスト」。
