京都、鮮やかに色づく　紅葉真っ盛り

勤労感謝の日の１１月２３日、京都市内では紅葉が最盛期を迎え、大勢の行楽客でにぎわった。東福寺（東山区）では雨がぱらつく中、約２万７千人の参拝者が訪れ、境内に架かる通天橋の下に広がる赤や黄に染まったカエデなどに、足を止めて見とれていた。寺によると、今年の紅葉は「１０年に１度の鮮やかさ」で、この週末だけで約６万人の参拝者を見込んでいるという。
