天皇皇后両陛下は、敬老の日にちなんで特別養護老人ホームを訪問されました。この施設では高齢者約120人が生活をしていて、合唱や楽器の演奏などにも取り組んでいます。両陛下は、一人ひとりに「楽しくお続けになってください」などと声をかけられていました。
