一年の無病息災に感謝　成田山新勝寺「お焚き上げ」(13/12/29)

千葉県の成田山新勝寺では、年末恒例のお札のお焚（た）き上げが行われました。　このお焚き上げは、不動明王の分身であるお札を炎のなかに返して、一年の無病息災などを感謝する儀式です。全国から集まった約5万体のお札などが次々と投げ込まれると、炎は一段と燃え上がりました。
