Costa Rica Turrialba volcano spews out 2 km-high plume of smoke, ash near capital
A volcano in Costa Rica, 30 kilometres north east of the capital, has belched a plume of ash 2 kilometres up into the sky. The Institute of Vulcanology that filmed these images reports activity had been steadily increasing over the last month.
