【民視即時新聞】位在花蓮中華路上的「舊遠東百貨」，在強震過後磁磚剝落、樑柱崩壞，附近居民人心惶惶，擔心哪天大樓崩塌，有人選擇搬離，也有民眾集結，一起拉布條、發出怒吼，高喊「不拆舊遠百、不進新遠百」，要展開抵制行動，而花蓮縣府也在舊遠百貼上紅色危險標誌，判定遠百是危樓，必須在30天內拆除。
