環状交差点、法的運用スタート 全国１５カ所、信号いらず

信号機がなく、渋滞や重大事故が起きにくいとされる円形の交差点「ラウンドアバウト」を「環状交差点」と名付け、通行ルールを定めた改正道交法が１日に施行され、大阪など７都府県の１５カ所に適用された。渋滞や重大事故が起きにくく、災害で停電しても混乱が少なくなると見込まれている
