かなまら祭り（Utamaro Festival）２０１４/神奈川新聞（カナロコ）

男性器をかたどったみこしが街に繰り出す「奇祭」として知られる川崎市川崎区の金山神社の例祭「かなまら祭」が６日、行われた。４月の第１日曜日に開催される春の例祭。江戸時代に川崎宿の飯盛り女たちが性病よけの願掛けしたことが由来とされ、現在、ご神体の「かなまら様」は子授けや安産、夫婦円満などの御利益があると言われる。
