兵庫県西宮市立瓦木中３年の鈴木ひとみさんがこのほど、「全日本通信珠算競技大会」で中学校の部日本一に輝いた。同大会では３回目の栄冠。 鈴木さんは市内で珠算教室を営む両親のもと、３歳からそろばんを始め、当時最年少の７歳１０カ月で暗算検定１０段に合格するなど、着実に力を伸ばしてきた。かけ算や見取り暗算など４種目計２００題で満点を取り、会場の１位となった
