2013年12月4日、参議院の総務委員会で日本維新の会の三宅博議員が「NHK問題」を質問。 その中で、NHKの「外国籍の外国人職員」の人数について質問しましたがNHKは「外国籍の外国人の職員数については把握していないので、　今ちょっとお答えできません」と回答を拒否しました。
