近年警察退休人數越來越少，又不斷有生力軍從警察大學畢業，台南市長黃偉哲率先發難，在經費不足的狀況下，如果六都都拒收，可能會出現5000名流浪警察，更點名台北市已經拒收，台北市長柯文哲澄清，並表示年金改革效應導致警察延緩退休，警政署也應該要召集所有警察局，應該思考需要多少警力，行政院也回應，每位訓練合格的員警，一定依法任用，絕不會出現流浪警察的情況。https://news.cts.com.tw/c
