A volcanic eruption in Russia's far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula has produced stunning images of lava flows oozing through a snowy wilderness. The Plosky Tolbachik volcano started erupting on 27 November 2012 after being dormant for more than 30 years. It is not known how long the eruption will last.
