GDP Growth

Council for Economic Planning and Development Minister Yiin Chii-Ming is confident that Taiwan's GDP growth can reach 3.8 percent in the upcoming year. But after the government's official statistics bureau downwardly revised its GDP forecast nine times this year, legislators were critical of the government's forecast saying someone should step down if a similar mistake was made next year.
